Basic Rules
*Tournament rules will be provided at the time of the LAN party.
- No smoking of any kind.
- This is a “family-oriented” event. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited. Foul language should be confined to your private thoughts, so don’t yell obscenities at an opponent who just sniped you.
- There should be ample power for your computer and monitor, but not for any extra equipment, e.g., powered speakers, UPS systems, or home theatre set-ups.
If you have questions about equipment, please contact us prior to the event.
- We have a “no spectator” policy in order to protect your equipment and ours. The only exception will be those people who have made arrangements in advance to share equipment with someone. In such cases each person is still required to register and pay the entry fee.
- NO HACKING. If a staff member finds anyone attempting to hack into any computers, switches, or other equipment on IT Xpress’ network, they will be asked to leave.
- NO CHEATING. This should be easily understood, but anyone caught cheating during an official tournament game will be asked to leave the area.
- IT Xpress is not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen property. If you attend the hockey game, reasonable steps will be taken to secure the event area, if you wish to leave your equipment in the event area.
- When you arrive, the area will be clean. Please make a real effort to leave it that way.
- Please, no illegal activities, such as a copyright infringement.
